JOB SUMMARY:  Serve as the first point of contact for clients and the general public. Work to ensure individuals who interact with KOOTASCA feel welcomed and important. Show compassion and care for people by listening, being empathetic, and actively working to address the demonstrated needs of the individual or family seeking services. Perform routine and confidential secretarial duties and clerical work for Agency and staff. Actively represent the agency’s mission of “Helping people, changing lives.”

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Some post-secondary education or equivalent office experience. Two years of experience working with word processing, spreadsheets, databases and standard office equipment, with ability to learn more programs.

 RATE OF PAY:                    

Entry wage of $13.82/hour with position wage range up to $17.48.


40 hours/weeks from September through May

36 hours/week in June, July, and August
